How to Link Voter ID with Aadhaar Card Online

As you know, aadhaar card has become very important document for Indian people. The Election Commission of India (EC) has launched a campaign to link voter IDs to Aadhaar cards in several states on 1 August. Linking a voter ID card to an Aadhaar card is done to identify voters, check voter list entries, and identify the same person registered more than one or two constituency or in the same constituency.

Those who wish to link their Aadhaar number to a voter ID can do so by filling out a new Form 6B. Voter’s have the option of submitting Aadhaar number either offline or online.

Any person whose name is on the voter register can submit Form 6B to the voter registrar along with their Aadhaar number.

How to Link Voter ID with Aadhaar Card online in PC

Step No.1: Visit official website of election commission voterportal.eci.gov.in

Step No.2: Login to portal with mobile number, email id, voter id number

Step No.3: Enter state, district and other personal information - your name, date of birth and father's name

Step No.4: Click the search button

Step No.5: Your details will match a government database and will be displayed on screen

Step No.6: Click "Feed Aadhaar No" option on left side of screen

Step No.7: A pop-up page will appear

Step No.8: Now fill name on Aadhaar card, Aadhaar number, voter ID, registered mobile number and/or registered email address.

Step No.9: Verify your details and click submit.

Step No.10: A message appears stating that the application has been successfully registered.

How to Link Voter ID with Aadhaar Card online in Mobile

Step No.1: Go to Google Play store and download, Install and open Voter Helpline.

Step No.2: Now you will see the disclaimer page, at the bottom of that page tap on the box (tick it), I agree and click on Next.

Step No.3: After this choose the language as per your need and then tap on get started.

Step No.4: Now tap on Voter Registration option.

Step No.5: Then tap on Electoral Authentication Form (Form 6B).

Step No.6: After this tap on let’s start.

Step No.7: Now enter your Mobile Number and then tap on send OTP.

Step No.8: Enter the OTP which you have received on your mobile and then tap on verify.

Step No.9: Then tap on Yes I have Voter ID Number and then tap on Next to proceed.

Step No.10: Now enter your voter id number and tap on fetch details.

Step No.11: After this verify your details, which is shown in the screen, then tap on Next.

Step No.12: Now enter your Aadhaar number, Mobile Number, Email Id, Place and tap on done.

Step No.13: Check all the details, if the details are correct, then tap on Confirm.

Step No.14: After confirming, you will receive reference id number, with the help of the reference id number you can check the status whether voter id number is linked with Aadhaar number or not.

Conclusion
