September, 2019.

Jio Fiber has come up with 6 (Six) Plan,
which are named as follow:
- Bronze - Jio Fiber Prepaid Plan (Bronze plan)
- Silver - Jio Fiber Prepaid Plan (Silver plan)
- Gold - Jio Fiber Prepaid Plan (Gold plan)
- Diamond - Jio Fiber Prepaid Plan (Diamond plan)
- Platinum - Jio Fiber Prepaid Plan (Platinum plan)
- Titanium - Jio Fiber Prepaid Plan (Titanium plan)

Yes, let’s check one by one
Bronze Plan
If you opt for bronze plan, then bronze plan
will give you 100 Mbps (Mega bits per second) of speed and data up to 100 GB
(Giga Bytes) for 30 days, plus you will get additional 50 GB data for next 6
months as introductory benefits.
Silver Plan
If you opt for silver plan, then silver plan
will give you 100 Mbps (Mega bits per second) of speed and data up to 200 GB
(Giga Bytes) for 30 days, plus you will get additional 200 GB data for next 6
months as introductory benefits.
Gold Plan
If you opt for gold plan, then gold plan will
give you 250 Mbps (Mega bits per second) of speed and data up to 500 GB (Giga
Bytes) for 30 days, plus you will get additional 250 GB data for next 6 months
as introductory benefits.
Diamond Plan
If you opt for diamond plan, then diamond
plan will give you 500 Mbps (Mega bits per second) of speed and data up to 1250
GB (Giga Bytes) for 30 days, plus you will get additional 250 GB data for next
6 months as introductory benefits.
Platinum Plan
If you opt for platinum plan, then platinum
plan will give you 1 Gbps (Giga bits per second) of speed and data up to 2500
GB (Giga Bytes) for 30 days. In this plan, you will not get any additional data
for next 6 months as introductory benefits.
Titanium Plan
If you opt for titanium plan, then titanium
plan will give you 1 Gbps (Giga bits per second) of speed and data up to 5000
GB (Giga Bytes) for 30 days. In this plan, you will not get additional data for
next 6 months as introductory benefits.
What about the voice call is it free or we need to pay extra for it?
Voice is free across all the category of the
data plan from Bronze to Titanium plan. One can make a free voice call anywhere
in India.
There are lots of features like TV Video Calling, Gaming, Home Networking, Device Security, can you tell us about that?
Yes, one can experience TV Video Calling,
Gaming, Home Networking which are included or bundled in all the plan.
Device Security (Norton) will be available
for up to 5 devices across all the plans.

What about Virtual Reality and premium content, can we experience these features?
Yes, definitely, you will be able to experience
Virtual Reality as well as Premium Content, but only if you opt for Diamond
plan or Platinum Plan or Titanium Plan.
You cannot experience Virtual Reality and
premium content if you opt for Bronze plan or Silver Plan or Gold Plan.

Suppose if the data limit which is given in the each plan get consumed before the validity period, that is 30 days, what happens afterwards?
Once you exceed the data limit under the plan
which you have selected, as per the Fair Usage Policy (FUP), your internet
speed will get reduced to 1 Mbps (Mega bits per second).

What is your take on Jio Fiber Prepaid Plan?
It’s really great to see and hear that one
can get 100 Mbps internet speed at
as low as Rs.699/- and that also Unlimited, though the plan is unlimited, after
the data cap limit gets exhausted, the internet speed get decreased to 1 Mbps as per Fair Usage Policy (FUP).
Because of high internet speed, that is, 100 Mbps the data will be consumed at
faster rate and most probably you will be end up using 1 Mbps.

Mbps might be good for surfing but one might not
have a good experience while watching videos, because the videos will buffer
while watching at 1 Mbps. One will
need to wait, to see whether fiber connection can help to give smooth
experience at 1 Mbps.
