you know Internet has come a long way, from the day when it was started. We
used to or we still hear the words like :

( Second Generation )

( Third Generation )
4G
( Fourth Generation )

LTE ( Fourth Generation Long Term Evolution )

LTE- A ( Fourth Generation Long Term Evolution – Advanced )
Now
the world is getting ready for the more upgraded version and the upgraded
version is none other than 5G
What is 5G ?
The
Full form of 5G is Fifth Generation. This is the upgraded version after the 4G
technology. 5G is not going to be limited only to speed as its predecessor. It is
going to be much more than that.
What is the basic difference between 4G and 5G ?
4G
is offering download speed upto 1 Gbps ( Giga bits per second ) while 5G will
offer downloading speed upto 10 Gbps ( Giga bits per second )
The
latency in 4G is around 50 ms ( milli second )
The
latency in 5G is around 1 ms ( milli second )
Latency means “the delay before the transfer of data begins following an instruction for its transfer”.
It
means that in 4G, one machine takes 50
ms before connecting to another machine, similarly in 5G, one machine will
take 1ms before connecting to
another machine. This is the biggest feature or difference, you can say in 4G
and 5G. This feature is going to be the game changer.
5G
will be more energy efficient than 4G
5G
will have more greater network capacity than 4G
Which companies are providing 5G equipment’s ?
- Ericsson
- Hewlett Packard Enterprise ( HPE )
- Intel
- Nokia
- Qualcomm etc.
Which of the countries are working on 5G as on date ?
Most
of the countries have started working on 5G, below are the few countries, which
have started working on 5G such as :
- South Korea
- China
- Japan
- United States
- United Kingdom and many more

Realme,
which is a sub brand of oppo is also coming with 5G Mobile phone before 2020.

When 5G is expected to get launched ?
It
is going to depend on country to country basis. South Korea and United States
of America has already started to offer 5G services in their countries but in
few regions.
In
India 5G will be launched after 2020. Indian Government is planning to sell the
spectrum in the coming days
Mobile
carrier such as Airtel, Vodafone Idea, Jio & BSNL are gearing up to buy the
spectrum so that they can give the services to support 5G.
