Whatsapp Payment : How to activate

 

I) Go to your WhatsApp app and then select the three-dotted icon which is on the top right corner of the screen.

 

2) Now click on 'Payments', then click on 'Add payment method'

 

3) Now you will see list of banks on your screen.

 

4) After selecting your bank name it will ask to verify your phone number, which is linked with the bank.

 

5) For verification, you will need to select 'Verify' via SMS.

 

Note: You need to make sure that the WhatsApp number which you are using should be same as the one linked to your bank account.

 

6) Once you are done with the verification process, then you need to complete setting up payments.

 

7) As you are aware that UPI PIN is necessary for carrying out transactions on WhatsApp similarly like other apps.

 

8) Now you can see the selected bank account on the payments page.

 

Whatsapp Payment : How to send or receive money

 

1) Go to the chat option on WhatsApp and select the 'attachment' icon .

 

2) Select the 'Payment' option and type the amount you want to send to the particular person.

 

3) Now it will ask you to enter your UPI PIN and press enter.

 

4) After that you will get a confirmation message of money sent.
