How to Turn OFF Reaction Notifications on WhatsApp 2025

This article will help you to know how to turn off reaction notification on WhatsApp, if it is enabled by default. It can be disabled for Individual Chats as well as for Group Chat. Below is the procedure, which will help you to understand.

Step No. 1 : Update your WhatsApp app to latest version.

Step No. 2: Open the WhatsApp App.

Step No. 3 : Tap on the vertical three dotted lines, which is situated at the top right hand corner.

Step No. 4 : Now tap on the settings.

Step No. 5 : After this tap on Notification.

Step No. 6 : Scroll down to Reaction notifications tap on the toggle button to disable the reaction message. ( this will disable for individual chats ).

Step No. 7 : Scroll down further you will see reaction notification for group chat tap on the toggle button to disable the reaction message.
