Design
Note 6 pro has not done a major change in its design. It has given a big notch, which is the only thing which differentiates it from its predecessor. Except for notch there is no major change in the design.
Display
They have made some improvement in their display as compared to their predecessor. The display is a little bit brighter than note 5 pro. You can see the screen comfortably when you gaze your mobile in the sunlight.
Notch Display
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 pro this time come up with a notch display which is not available in Xiaomi redmi Note 5 pro. But the notch which is given on Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 pro is too broad. The only reason why the notch might be broad on its mobile, because of the two front-facing cameras.
Camera
Redmi Note 6 pro has improved its camera quality from its predecessor. You can have a better quality photo this time as compared to its predecessor.
Nano coating
Note 6 Pro has a nano-coating on its screen. Nano coating helps to protect the screen of the mobile from the droplets of water. So you might relax a little bit when some water drops on your mobile screen. This is an additional feature which Xiaomi has come up with Note 6 Pro.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 636
Note 6 pro has used the same chipset, which it has used in Note 5 pro that is Qualcomm 636. So as per performance wise, you will not see much improvement. Most of the consumers were expecting Qualcomm 660, but they need to settle with Qualcomm 636.
Card slot
Note 6 pro has given hybrid card slot. The hybrid card gives you the option of either you can use 2(Two) SIM at the same time or you can use 1(One) SIM and 1(One) Memory Card at the same time.
They should have given a dedicated card slot. Dedicated card slot gives you the option of using 2(Two) SIM card slot and 1(One) memory card slot.
Battery
Note 6 Pro has come with the same battery capacity of 4000 mah same as its predecessor note 5 pro. Again you will not see much difference in this also.
Qualcomm 3 charging support
The phone supports quick charging. But Xiaomi has provided a normal charger for charging out of the box. One needs to buy a charger separately if they won't charge their mobile quickly.
Fingerprint and Face unlock
Fingerprint and face unlock are pretty much responsive. Both the features of Fingerprints and Faceunlock are pretty much fast. It unlocks your phone for less than a second.
VOLTE
This mobile supports dual volte SIM.

Note 6 pro has come up with two variant 4GB and 64GB Storage at Rs.13,999/- and 6GB RAM and 64 GB Storage at Rs.15,999/- respectively.

Most of the features of Note 6 pro, which they have come up with are same as its predecessor Note 5 Pro. There are no major changes on Note 6 pro, so therefore it cannot be called as successor. The price which they have fixed for their mobile, at that price you will get another mobile phone with more or less with the same specs.
