Step No.1: open chatting box with the person you want to send money to.

Step No.2: Now Tap on the "Payment" icon or Alternatively, you can click Attachment and tap on payment.

Step No.3: Now tap on Get Started.

Step No.4: Click on "Accept and Continue" to accept the payment terms and privacy policy.

Step No.5: Now tap on the bank name in the bank list.

Step No.6: Click on "Verify by SMS".

Step No.7: Click Allow. If WhatsApp already has permission to make and manage calls, you don't need to grant permission.

How do I Remove a Linked Bank Account in Whatsapp?

If you want to remove a linked bank account in your WhatsApp app, then you can follow these below steps:

Step No.1: Open your WhatsApp app on your mobile phone and tap on the "three dotted lines", which can be seen at the top right hand corner.

Step No.2: Now, tap on "Payments" to access your payment settings.

Step No.3: In the payments section, you will see a list of your linked bank accounts, simply tap on the account you wish to remove.

Step No.4: After this, you will see the account details on the screen, tap on the "Remove bank account" option. You will be prompted to confirm the removal of the bank account.

Step No.5: Once you confirm to remove the bank account, the bank account will be removed from your WhatsApp Pay settings. Now you will no longer be able to send or receive money from that account through WhatsApp.

Note: Once you have removed the linked bank account, and it was the only bank account in the whatsapp pay settings, then you will need to add new bank account, if you want to use Whatsapp Pay again in future.
